The persistent power outage on campus is due to lack of electricity supply from IBEDC transmitting station.
Be rest assured that work is in progress to end this menace as engineers of the University Works Department and IBEDC are jointly working on the lines from Ganmo Transmitting station. Currently, they are changing 25 suspected 33KV poceline pot insulators along the lines to 33KV Silicone pot insulators.
