HOSTEL ALLOCATION SCAM ALERT
This is to put to the hearing of all students of the prestigious University of Ilorin that there is a false broadcast going round about the availability of bed spaces in some school-owned hostels and asking interested students to contact a particular number!
Despite the constant reminder that bedspaces are neither sellable nor transferrable, it is quite disheartening that some students still fall victim of cheap hostel accommodation frauds.
We are using this medium to announce that hostel allocation, booking, and payment can only be done on the school portal, and any other means is totally illegal and punishable! In general, we urge our members to be vigilant and careful of online deals and transactions!
