FARIHAN EMERGES BEST SPEAKER IN AFRICA
A 400-level student of Computer Engineering department, Sodiq Farihan Ayomide has emerged African Best Speaker at the 13th PAN African Universities Debate Championship 2021 virtually hosted by University of Botswana.
The tournament which was keenly participated by 42 Universities, 76 teams and 141 speakers from than 8 countries across the African continent had 9 rigorous preliminary rounds.
Also at the competition, Ibrahim Idris Oluwaferanmi, a 400-level student of Agronomy emerged 3rd best speaker in Africa while Ogundare Taye Tobi, a 400-level student of Aquaculture and Fisheries also emerged Best New Judge.
