We are aware of the rumour flying around of a purported kidnapping of a student at the College of Health Sciences.

Please be informed that the news is untrue and misleading. However, with regards to the incident, the appropriate authorities have been swiftly notified and everything is under control and therefore, there's no cause for alarm.

We plead with our fellow colleagues to remain calm while being security conscious as we await further information from the authorities.
