APPLICATION FOR THE NATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP CHALLENGE
This is to inform you of the Application for the National Entrepreneurship Challenge 2022. This is an initiative of the Directors of Entrepreneurship Centers across Nigerian Universities as supported by the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC).
Application is open to all Undergraduate and Postgraduate students irrespective of course type or programme.
How to Participate
1. Fill the Expression of Interest form online.
2. Submit a 4 minutes video presentation of your project.
Guide for video presentation:
a. Your video duration should be maximum of 4 minutes.
b. Self-introduction: Name, University, Course of Study, Level and the Zone.
c. A well conceptualized problem that can respond to the challenges of an identified Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including how the idea will be commercialized.
d. Description of the product or services and state what makes it unique compared to existing ones.
e. Describe the current stage of your idea development (idea generation, idea screening, concept development and testing, building a market strategy, product development, market testing, and market commercialization).
f. Market Analysis: SWOT Analysis & Strategies (Your strength and how you will opportunity you have; and threat considering similar concepts already in take advantage of it; your weakness and how you intend to fill the gap; the existence, describe your business model/strategy).
g. Financial Analysis and sustainability (your expected income, profit, and gross margin per month, how do you intend to maximize income and reduce cost? What would be the breakeven points of your business and its implications?
g. Conclusion.
