NANS JCC KWARA 2022 SPECIAL CONVENTION: CONGRATULATIONS TO GEE ROOPHAI, SAOTY AND ATOM
On behalf of every Unilorites, we congratulate Yusuf Abdulgafar (Gee Roophai), a 300-level student of the department of Science Education on his emergence as the Chairman, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Committee, Kwara State axis. Abdulgafar, the erstwhile Assistant General Secretary of the Association had emerge unopposed with 19 votes at the annual convention.
Also at the convention, the duo of Issa Abdulgafar (Saoty), 100-level student of the department of Social Science Education and Lawal Abdullah (Atom), 400-level student of the department of Agric Extension and Rural development both clinched the positions of Public Relations Officer 1 and Director of Contacts and Logistics respectively.
Wholeheartedly, we felicitate with these Unilorites on attaining this new feat. We equally charge them to keep flying the better-by-far flag high, duly represent the interests of students in the state and be steadfast in their service delivery.
The NANS JCC Kwara Axis 2022 Special Convention which was held yesterday at the NLC Secretariat in Ilorin had two delegates each from tertiary institutions across the State. University of Ilorin Students' Union was also well represented at the convention by the President, Taofik Waliu (Omoluabi) and General Secretary, Adeleye Isaac (Mr. Excellent).
