STUDENTS' WELFARISM: UNION OFFICIALS ENGAGE COMMUNITY HEADS AND TRANSPORT WORKERS

As part of our resolve to cater for the all round welfarism of students both on and off-campus, the leadership of the Union led by Faji Tobiloba held an important and engaging meeting with the community heads and the leaders of transport workers of the Oke-Odo community.

At the meeting, important issues that are centered on the welfarism of students were deliberated upon. The issues include but not limited to price review of transport fares, reckless driving of both bike and Keke-Napep drivers, security concerns.

The meeting which also had in attendance Magaji of Jalala was held at Jalala Primary school. After an exhaustive and positive-yielding meeting, the following resolutions were made:

1. Necessary steps will be taken to curb any form of harassment or theft on students.

2. Drivers and riders have been cautioned on over-speeding.

3. In terms of transport fares, the following prices were agreed upon:

NEW PRICES FOR BIKE

NEW PRICES FOR KEKE-NAPEP
