IMPORTANT UPDATE: TRANSPORTATION FARE AT COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES, OKE-OYI
Sequel to the various transportation crises students of the College of Health Sciences have had to endure as a result of the economic condition of the nation, we are pleased to announce that after a series of negotiations and deliberative efforts with the aid of the school authority most importantly the Srudents’ Affairs Unit, we have been able to come to a new pricing agreement for the tricycles operators with regards to transport fares.
The new pricing is as follows;
1. Transport fare from Old College to PS - #150 (not #200 anymore)
2. Transport fare from New College to PS - #100 (not #150 anymore)
3. Transport fare from New College to Old College: #70 (not #100 anymore)
Students are encouraged to kindly note the new prices and adhere strictly to them. More importantly, we would advise that you go along with change to avoid issues of lack of change with the tricycle operators.
Importantly, we would like to appreciate all-important Union stakeholders and school management, the Dean Students Affairs (Prof. M.T Yakub) and the Sub Dean COHS (Dr. A. S. Alabi) who took the major part in the deliberative and negotiation process.
As a responsive union, enthusiastic about the welfare of its members, please be rest assured that we are definitely working round the clock to ease the stress of students and also making conscious efforts towards making our lives on campus as easy as possible.
