FACILITATION OF BOREHOLE AT LAGOS MALE HOSTEL
As a responsible and responsive union, we take pride in prioritizing the welfare and interests of Unilorites, the students of the University of Ilorin. With this in mind, we have taken steps to facilitate the installation of a borehole at the Lagos Male Hostel, one of the many facilities that house the students on campus.
Through the Grassroot Aid Initiative, we have identified the need for a reliable source of clean water at the hostel and have worked diligently to make it a reality. Today, we are pleased to report that an assessment of the site has been conducted, marking an important milestone in the project's progress.
We recognize the importance of access to safe and clean drinking water, particularly in a communal setting like a hostel. Therefore, we have taken a proactive approach to address this critical need and ensure the well-being of our fellow students.
We are grateful for the support of our partners and Student Affairs Unit that have contributed to this effort, and we look forward to the commencement of construction work, which is expected to begin shortly. We will continue to provide updates on the project's progress and remain committed to serving the best interests of Unilorites.
