FAJI TOBILOBA RESUMES OFFICE
We are pleased to announce that Faji Tobiloba has resumed activities as the Executive President of the Students' Union.
In his words "The past few days have been turbulent, confusing, yet it has charted a clearer and a more lucid pathway and direction in our governance.
In the journey of leadership, obstacles are inevitable what matters most is staying true and handling the problems that comes with the obstacles.
Dearest Unilorites, realize that my duty of service to you has become a thick part of me, and my separation from duty was an opportunity to sit back and develop strategies on how to better serve you. I assure you that the events of the past weeks is only an opportunity to serve you better.
I must send my appreciation to members of the Central Executive Council, especially the Vice-president for stemming the tides of leadership while I was away. My appreciation also goes to every other organ of our dearest Union, I say thank you all.
I'll close on the note that, the time for play is over, it is time to prove our worth as examination is upon us. We must all play our part to achieve our dream of a better tomorrow. Put in the work, study hard, pray sincerely and shun examination malpractice."
We would like to take this opportunity to remind all students that the Students' Union plays a critical role in the university system, and we encourage all students to support their elected representatives as they work towards making positive contributions to the student experience.
We welcome the Executive President of the Students' Union back to office. We trust that he will continue to work diligently and responsibly in the best interest of the students.
