INTRODUCING THE STUDENTS’ UNION LITIGATION BUREAU FOR THE 2022/23 ACADEMIC SESSION

Members of the Union are herein notified as to the creation of the Students’
Union Litigation Bureau for the 2022/23 academic session in fulfillment of section 19 of the Students’ Union Constitution (as amended 2022).
The Litigation Bureau of the Students’ Union is a body of student legal practitioners under the office of the Attorney-General of the Students’ Union. For ease of access to justice in the public sphere of the Union, members of the Union can approach any member of the bureau in respect of matters concerning allegations of crime triable before the Students’ Union Court and other legal matters which affect the whole of the Union.
Sequel to the creation of the bureau above and pursuant to Sections 2 and 3 of the Law Officers Act 2023, the following persons have been appointed as law officers of the Union and members of the Litigation Bureau for the 2022/23 session;
1. AJibola A. Ologunde – Solicitor-General of the Students’ Union
2. Samuel F. Ashaolu, SAU – Director, Anti-Corrupt Investigation and Prosecution Unit of the Students’ Union Litigation Bureau
3. Precious C. Esere – Director, Civil Litigation Unit of the Students’ Union Litigation Bureau
4. Fahd O. Amin – Chief Secretary of the Students’ Union Litigation Bureau
5. Azeezah I. Suleiman – Member, Students’ Union Litigation Bureau
6. Yusuf A. Ademola – Member, Students’ Union Litigation Bureau
7. Saoban A. Ashimi – Member, Students’ Union Litigation Bureau
8. Azeemah Y. Adedigba – Member, Students’ Union Litigation Bureau
