UPDATE ON TRANSPORTATION FARE IN OLD COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES
Excellent Collegiates,
Sequel to the meeting held with the Tricycle operators of UITH, the COHS SU REPS and all association executives in College of Health Sciences on Tuesday 19th of March, 2024.
The meeting was a productive one as we discussed issues revolving the increment in price of transportation and conduct of the Tricycle operators and the students .
After a lot of factors were considered as regards the current situation of the country, we are pleased to announce to you that the price of transportation and drop locations as reviewed includes;
1. UITH Gate to Class junction = #100
2. UITH Gate to Hostel junction= #100
3. UITH Park to UITH Gate= #100
4. UITH Park to Agbede (A-Z jxn) = #100
5. UITH Park to Oke-Ose = #150
6. Agbede/Oke-Ose to Class Junction= #150
NB: A request to be taken to the class area or to the hostel will be on the basis of mutual dialogue and agreement with the driver at the pickup station.
We urge all students to please be of good conduct and not in any way disrespect the Tricycle operators, all issues should be relayed to the transport committee members and representatives of your association and we'll take it up from there.
