We are deeply concerned by the content of a video involving a group of four students, who have been identified as members of our citadel of learning. The behavior exhibited in the video does not reflect the values and standards of our institution. It is against our principles to belittle acts of kindness, especially from a government that prioritizes the welfare of our students. Therefore, we unequivocally disassociate our Union and the entire student body from the aforementioned video.
We take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the Government of Kwara State, led by Mallam Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman, for their generous and inclusive approach to providing assistance. The timely distribution of palliatives is commendable.
However, we strongly condemn the inappropriate behavior displayed by the students in the video. We urge the government to consider the prayers and well-wishes of the majority of our students.
