IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE CURRENT STATUS OF ELECTRICITY AND WATER SUPPLY ON CAMPUS

We acknowledge the campus-wide power outage since Thursday, May 30th, 2024, stemming from a major fault attributed to the electricity company. This unfortunate incident has resulted in the unavailability of water on campus.
Despite efforts by the University Vice Chancellor to address the electricity issue today, it was thwarted by the ongoing nationwide strike action by the NUC.
The Works Department has been actively working on providing generators to power and pump water in the university community.
All hostels are required to ensure power supply is available both in the morning and at night for the residents pending the time electricity will be fully restored. Please rest assured that electricity will be promptly restored on campus once the strike action concludes.
