REGISTRATION FOR UNILORIN-INSPIRE PROGRAMME FOR ALL FINAL YEAR STUDENTS

We’re pleased to announce the registration process for the University of Ilorin Innovative Skills and Pioneering Entrepreneurship (UNILORIN-INSPIRE), a skills acquisition programme for all final year students of the University.

Please be informed that this programme will now serve as one of the prerequisite for final year student clearance.

STUDENT LOGIN PROCESS
Students can log in and enroll in the program by following these steps:
1. Visit the Login Portal via: https://u-inspire.unilorin.edu.ng/login.
2. Access the Login Page and click on the "Enroll/Login" button on the homepage.
3. Log in with Your Credentials - Use your matric number as both the username and password to log in. After logging in, it is recommended to change your password for security purposes.
4. Select Your Skills - Leadership is a compulsory skill and has already been registered for you. You can select an additional skill of your choice.

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THE DISBURSEMENT OF 2024/2025 NELFUND STUDENT LOAN

Following the disbursement of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFund), we are writing to keep you abreast of the necessary steps and prerequisites for receiving refund of the loan from the Bursary Office, University of Ilorin.

The Students' Union appreciates the transparency and prudence demonstrated by the President Tinubu-led administration, NELFund management, and University Administration in disbursing the loan.

Kindly be informed that this information is specifically for students who applied for NELFund in the 2024/2025 Academic Session and their NELFund status has been ‘verified’.

The Student Populace could recall that the University of Ilorin has merged two academic sessions: 2023/2024 and 2024/2025. However, please note that the NELFund portal currently displays the 2023/2024 Academic Session, which is also the same as 2024/2025 loan application.

To be eligible for a refund, concerned students are to submit a letter to the Bursar through the Dean, Student Affairs Unit (SAU), accompanied by the following documents as references:

- A copy of 2024/2025 session's school charges receipt
- A copy of upkeep payment receipt (if applicable)
- Recipient bank details for the payment

We reiterate our commitment to prioritizing the welfare of all, with transparency and accountability.

RE-ACTIVATION OF WORK AND STUDY PROGRAMME FOR ALL SMART UNILORITES

We are pleased to announce that the University Administration has graciously reactivated the Work and Study Programme for all students of the University. This programme is designed to provide passionate and academically fit students with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 with mentorship on work ethics and financial assistance.

The programme will operate on a shift basis, with two daily shifts:
- 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM

After successful application and verification process, students will be posted to various departments, units, and centers within the University, including:

On Monday, January 6, 2025, the 37th Students' Union Central Executive Council, led by Comr. AGEZEH, Victor (VICTEG), joined the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole (SAN), to unveil the Smart Campus Shuttle service, an innovative transportation system designed to provide safe, convenient, and efficient transportation for students, staff, and members within the university campus.

The launch of the Smart Campus Shuttle service which was held at the university new park was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellors, University Principal Officers, Dean of Faculties, Dean and Sub-Deans of the Student Affairs Unit, and other dignitaries.

Prof. Egbewole (SAN) expressed his excitement about the launch of the Smart Campus Shuttle service, stating that it is a testament to the university's commitment to providing a world-class education and a supportive learning environment. The Students' Union President on behalf of the Executive Council members expressed gratitude to the university management for their support.

Recall that on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, we assumed office as the 37th Students’ Union Executives of the better by far University with a collective vision to drive our Union on a ‘Smart Path To Great Dispensation’.

This milestone showcases our collective vision towards building a Union that aligns and compliment the smart vision 1: 10: 500 of the University. A vision that aims at making the University the 1st in Nigeria, 10th best in Africa, and among the top 500 globally.

This notification announces the launch of the Smart ‘Unilorin Campus Shuttle’, an innovative transportation system under the watch of Student Affairs Unit and Students’ Union, designed to make commuting easier, safer, and more convenient for the University of Ilorin community.

The Smart ‘Unilorin Campus Shuttle’ which will be operational from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM daily, with a convenient 3-3-1 sitting arrangement to ensure a comfortable and spacious ride, will route through: School Gate (New Park), School Park, Pharmacy, COHS (New), and down to the old College of Health Sciences (COHS).

To ensure a well organized commute, please find below the routes and fares, which will be effective from Monday, January 6, 2025:
