A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT TO FIND A SOLUTION TO THE POWER OUTAGE ON CAMPUS

Excellent Unilorites,

We are deeply saddened, heartbroken, and concerned about the recent power outages on campus. The Students' Union Leadership convened an emergency meeting with the University Management and Student Affairs Unit to address and thoroughly discuss the issues surrounding the power outage affecting our community. Regrettably, the fault has been traced back to IBEDC, and we are working tirelessly to ensure that power supply is restored as soon as possible.

In the interim, the University Management is working to provide electricity on campus through generators, which will also support the pumping of water to hostels. Additionally, strict monitoring will be conducted on private hostels to ensure that generators are used to provide comfort for our students.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this challenging time. Thank you for your usual cooperation.
