HOSTEL ALLOCATION: BEWARE OF SCAMMERS

It's been brought to our notice, the actions of some unscrupulous elements who are posing themselves as Officials of the Student Affairs Unit in order to scam students under the guise of School-owned hostel allocation. These set of people still went ahead to send mails to students in the name of the University in order to lure them to pay into their bank account.

Be informed that University of Ilorin hostel allocation is done on Undergraduate portal through balloting process and not through payment into any bank account.

We hereby urge all fresh and returning students to kindly disregard any information being sent to them that they should pay for hostel allocation.

As a union, we are committed to bridging the gap of information between the school management and the students. Hence, be rest assured that we would always make available to you timely, credible and reliable information as regards hostel allocation and other developments.

Finally, be ensured that your well-being as students remain our utmost concern as a people focused administration.
